Christmas In Action

Our goal each year is to repair 50 homes.

Christmas in action. Christmas in action is a 501 3 c non profit volunteer organization that repair homes for the elderly disabled and low income homeowners in the cleburne area. Christmas in action is a 501 c 3 nonprofit agency that in partnership with the community repairs homes of low income elderly and or disabled homeowners by putting christian values and principles in action. Christmas in action rehabilitates the homes of low income elderly and low income disabled so that they may continue to live in warmth safety and independence our vision. The johnson county branch of christmas in action is a christian organization based in cleburne and is an independent branch of the national organization that bobby trimble began in the 1970 s in midland texas.

To complete 25 more projects each year so that more can live in warmth. All charitable contributions come from individuals churches businesses civic organizations trusts and foundations. Christmas in action greater cleburne organized in 1999 with our first work day taking place in 2000. Since our beginning in 1997 christmas in action spartanburg has provided hope through action for the low income elderly and disabled homeowners in communities all across spartanburg county. There are many other cia s in the united states that also provide assistance through their volunteers donors and boards and cleburne. Christmas in action performs most of its projects during the community work day usually the first weekend in april.

Christmas in action is a 501 3 c non profit volunteer organization that repair homes for the elderly disabled and low income homeowners in the cleburne area. To date hundreds of homes in johnson county texas have been repaired by christmas in action. To have each church and major business in wichita county complete or finance one project a year.

The cleburne chapter formally known as christmas in april formed the local chapter in july 1999. Each year we perform most of our projects during the community work day usually the first weekend of april.
